Leadership Change at HWS Gruppe: A New Course for the Future
With a clear view of the coming years and a change in management, we are starting the year 2025 full of confidence. At our Townhall event in mid-January, we not only presented a new vision, but also took an important step for our future: Our long-standing Managing Director and owner Bernd Scheuerer has handed over operational management into new hands. Volkmar Fritz will take over responsibility for our company as CEO with immediate effect.
Bernd Scheuerer has characterised our company for many years with passion, vision and commitment. Under his leadership, we were able to establish ourselves as a reliable and innovative partner in the IT industry.

In Volkmar Fritz, we are gaining a leader who will take the company to the next level,’ explained Bernd Scheuerer on the occasion of the handover.
Even though he is stepping back from day-to-day business, Bernd Scheurer will actively support the company strategically in his role as owner and lead it into a new era together with Volkmar Fritz.
New Leadership, New Impulses
Volkmar Fritz, an experienced top manager, is taking over the management of the company. With over 30 years of professional experience, including 22 years in top management positions in groups in the aviation industry as well as the banking and insurance sectors, he brings with him extensive and interdisciplinary knowledge. Coupled with his many years of experience as a management consultant, this forms a solid basis for moulding the HWS Group into a high-performance entity in the market in all its areas.
